Meet Barbara

P1010161My life’s work has been about learning how to live in integrity and truly be myself. Early in life we learn to separate from our true nature. It’s often a survival strategy with unique manifestations in each of us. Those of us who are drawn to reconnect spend the rest of our lives learning how to come home. I have dedicated my life to this journey.

Some tools I have acquired that have been wonderful helpers for myself and others on the way are inquiry, meditation, dream and journey work, art, ritual and group circles.

I have been facilitating one-on-one counseling sessions and leading spiritual circles with the focus on self-exploration and inquiry for 15 years.  Both are strong and beautiful containers for the deep and tender work of healing from the level of personality to the depth of our souls.

My background includes:
Founder of the Wisdom Center, Spiritual Awareness Groups, St. Mary’s Center, Oakland, CA
M.A. from the University of Creation Spirituality, Oakland, CA

Certification in SoulCollage® by Seena Frost, Founder
Ongoing member of the International Retreat Group facilitated by Sandra Maitri

BARBARA REINER

“Barbara really helped me to dig down into my history to see why I was blocked. She gently probed to see how I could go forward with my challenges and I felt at peace with them after our session. A couple of weeks later I was able to confront the challenges with determination and aplomb. Two thumbs up to Barbara!”     TC

I am pleased to meet you. What you say here resonates with me and reminds me of a poem I wrote and recently reposted on my blog; it is called “Love has work to do”.
